California cat missing for nearly a decade, found 1,000 miles away in North Idaho Harriet went missing for nearly 10 years

Susan Moore believed she would never again see her cat. Brown tabby cat Harriethad disappeared from Moore's property in central California nine years back.

Moore, who had delicately cared for Harriet for three years after lovingly adopting her from a shelter as a kitten, stated, "I was extremely worried about this cat going missing. I had a strong attachment with this cat.

When Harriet returned in her life, she was reminded of the cat's previous residence with her at the ranch, where Harriet alternated between the house and the barn.

When Harriet was recovered, Moore believed that rather than having her live as a barn cat with her nine horses and five roping steers, she should send her to live with her 84-year-old mother, Barbara Swarts.
